Why Do People Dislike Putting Your Hoof Down?
I rewatched some clips of it on Youtube and saw a fair amount of comments calling it one of the weaker episodes of the show. I completely disagree. For me, it's actually the episode that turned me into a brony (I had seen several episodes before with my sister, but we didn't get to finish this one so I watched the rest on my own). I loved the idea of having an episode where Fluttershy learns the the right balance between kindness and assertiveness by having her fall too far on one end of the spectrum. Plus I understand dealing with anxiety and being kind of shy, holding in anger for awhile until it finally lashes out and you say things that you regret. It doesn't excuse what you did, but you make amends, forgive yourself, and learn from it. That's very powerful to me.
What do you think? What do you like/dislike about this episode? Comment and let me know and thanks for reading.
