So when's the next season of mlp
Obviously, it's probably too late for this to happen, but the concept of a Harry Potter or Star Wars-esque My Little Pony area at a park like Disney or Universal is too tempting for me not to think about; After all, Faust designed the Friendship is Magic universe to be as fleshed out and complex as the fantasy worlds we so often see in amusement parks, so the series is a ridiculously natural fit. So, I figured I would quickly drop a concept here to at least get it out.
Critical elements of the park design
The Rides
Fluttershy's Petting Zoo - On its own a straightforward petting zoo for children, the setting behind Fluttershy's literal treehouse - featuring a loving recreation of her animal sanctuary - would make for an immersive and beautiful experience even with such a simple attraction.
The Shops and Restaurants
Sugarcube Corner - The bakery we've seen countless times in Friendship is Magic. Guests will enjoy the same oddball and conventional pastries, sit in the same (albeit larger) dining room, and if they make a reservation, talk to the same host ponies via a screen a la Turtle Talk with Crush. A DJ Pon3 animatronic will get the chance to play a concert on Fridays and Saturdays.
Carousel Boutique - Rarity's famous store is an attraction in its own right. A preshow will allow guests to interact with the Element of Generosity's bearer and allow Rarity to give a sales pitch before guests enter the main shop. Once in the store, guests will be able to buy all sorts of unique apparel based on what characters from the show would wear as well as the personal tastes of our resident fashion designer.
Tea with Discord - Discord is in Fluttershy's house and, much to her dismay, is selling the guests tea instead of just sharing. Designed as a significantly quieter and calmer place than the rest of the land.
There will be room for other shopping and dining experiences, of course, with market stands as well as sitdown areas and shops similar to those seen in the heart of Ponyville in Friendship is Magic.
Final Thoughts
Will this happen? No. Is it fun to dream? Yes. Could a My Little Pony themed area be truly compelling? Maybe, but everything would have to be done with the true love and care that was put into creating the world of the source material. Have I written for 30 minutes longer than I planned? Absolutely.
So, because it's No-Pics Thursday (March 14th, 2019) today, you know what that means...
It's time for the Weekly Fanfic Recommendation LINK-SWAP Game thread to continue!
Anyways, THE RULES (read 'em carefully):
Post a link to a fanfiction you like (can be your own as well - it's okay to self-promote), with or without a short blurb.
Important: Reply to someone else's post with a link to a fanfiction you think they might like, based on their choices.
Put each of your choices in a separate post if you want to make sure to get a recommendation based on each one. You may reply to someone else's reply, either to you or to someone else. Please make long discussion threads, they introduce a healthy bit of exploration and can help us find new interests! And that's it!
PLEASE COMPLETE BOTH STEPS 1 and 2. Don't just show up and ask for recommendations if you're not willing to provide any. I'll start the first few threads myself, and reply with a gentle reminder if you forget.
IMPORTANT NOTE. Thanks to /u/BookHorseBot (many thanks to their creator, /u/BitzLeon), you can now use the aforementioned bot to easily post the name, description, views, rating, tags, and a bunch of other information about a fic hosted on Fimfiction.net. All you need to do is include "{NAME OF STORY}" in your comment (without quotes), and the bot will look up the story and respond to your comment with the info. It makes sharing stories really convenient. You can even lookup multiple stories at once.
Ready? Set? LET"S GO! Also, feel free to self-promote in here!
Hello and again welcome to your weekly dose of '安息': 'This Week on the Plounge' wherein I inform you, the fine folks of the mane sub, what's been going on at your favourite sister subreddit, the Plounge, this past week.
Wait, what is this Plounge you speak of?
The Plounge, or more formally the MLP Lounge is /r/mylittlepony's sister subreddit. Designed to be a place where you can free of the tyranny of rules 3 and 4. A chill place for bronies or anyone to talk in a SFW chat centric environment. It can be found over at /r/MLPLounge. (most of us browse by /new though). Oh and BPM is nice to have. Even if you're allergic to using emotes yourself you'll miss a lot of extra context without it.
What some casual conversation with a sprinkling of ponies? Come over to this introductions thread and meet some people. Don't worry there's also a topic so it ain't just "hi!" "hi" awkward silence.

From their history, their culture, their technology and so forth. Here are the characters listed:
My guess is that the ponies learn about humans due to members of the latter travelling to Equestria using some interdimensional wormhole technology. This question does NOT apply to Equestria Girls. Though this does apply to other fictional universes where humans are the main focus like Marvel.
This is the thread for discussing anything pertaining to Fanfiction in general. Like your ideas, thoughts, what you're reading, etc. This differs from my Fanfic Recommendation Link-Swap Thread, as that focuses primarily on recommendations. Every week these two threads will be posted at alternate times.
Although, if you like, you can talk about fics you don't necessarily recommend but found entertaining.

Hi there! It's Thursday again and that means another chance to talk about what's been happening around here and how you feel about it!
Same as every other time, feel free to discuss whatever it is you'd like regarding our little subreddit good or bad. If you're unhappy we'll try our best to fix whatever problem you're having!
If you want to talk about the MLP fandom in general, that's fine too!
But some people may not want to talk about comics or anything else that hasn't happened yet, so you should be nice and hide those conversations from those people by using the spoiler tag.
If you don't know how it's as easy as making an emote:
>!It has ponies!!<
And if you're not wanting to discuss the subreddit or community specifically you can also check out the weekly off-topic thread here!!!!!
There are always things about the show I want to talk about, but I'd rather not always dedicate an entire full blown thread to it or it's never the right time to mention because no one would care. Maybe it's a thought that could be answered quickly enough to end discussion or something insignificant and stupid brewing in the back of your head for awhile! Anything you want to throw out to r/mylittlepony and say your piece!
Is there anything you've wanted to mention lately but never got around to it? Anything you want to speak up about for a bit? Any pony topic at all?
Wait what!? Who told you that? (I was fearing the worst, that perhaps she found one of those weird Chinese videos on youtube.) "There was a video about the new episodes on the computer." ........ So apparently after much back and forth and some talking with brother, I was able to figure out what happened.
One of her old teachers was retiring and she was confused why everyone was sad and why her teacher was "going away".
This lead to them explaining how the teacher is not going "away" forever and is actually ok, just that she isn't going to be working there anymore since she had been there for so long. Ok so what does this have to do with "killing off" Apparently sometime later, bro and his wife were talking about Games of Thrones and about characters getting "killed off". At which my little niece askes:
So to help explain, brother used analogy that when a show retires characters the people who play the character aren't hurt, that just like her old teacher, they are just not going to be on the show anymore. So niece put the two together and figured, since MLP is a show and that Celestia and Luna are retiring, that the correct term is "killing off".
So something that I have noticed over the seasons is that there are a GREAT deal of Pony cities and other territories spread out all over Equestria that tend to be brimming with ponies and other creatures. However looking forward and back. . . it seems like most every other creature in Equestria only seem to have a single major city or gathering ground.
The Griffons have the dilapidated Griffonstone.
The Hippogriffs have Seaquestria, divided into an Above and Underground states.
The Changedlings only seem to have their singular Changedling Hive, big though it may be.
The Dragons are still mostly solitary with only a few major non permanent gathering grounds on rare occasions.
And yet the Ponies as stated before have dozens if not hundreds of cities all pecked across Equestria. Why do y'all think that is? Did most of the Griffons just end up leaving Griffonstone and settled in Equestrian cities? Do Ponies just breed a lot more? Why is it that the Ponies alone are so spread out in several major population centers?
So there are a lot of episodes in this show and over the years it has gotten a VERY large cast. So large in fact that it necessitates leaving out characters in order to keep the story and episodes moving at a solid pace within their 22 minute time span.
And during "Fame and Misfortunes", when Starlight was "dealing" with a couple of ponies who made Rarity cry, I began to wonder. . . just where the heck is Spike during all this? I ultimately guessed that he had just been reading Power Pony comics all day and was so engrossed that he missed everything.
There are a LOT of episodes you can think on this subject about. So what are your headcanons for what a character was doing in a certain episode that they were left out of?
