After going bitless with my horse last year I have found that he responds best to a hackamore as opposed to a sidepull or one of those bitless bridles. However, pretty much every hackamore/bosal that I can find looks something like this (not my horse) with lots of rope and braided leather, very Cowboy-ish; that isn't surprising given their origins but it does look a bit silly since I use an English saddle and even though I don't compete anymore my riding style is very English. I was trying to find a hackamore that is just plain black leather but I can only find sidepulls and bitless bridles that look like that, do you know where I can find what I'm looking for?
