My sister has a horse, and anytime you kiss his nose he starts licking your face. I love it, and I'll let him do it as much as he wants.
I'm bringing my horse back into work after a 12 month break and I'm looking for some saddle advice.
Earlier this year I started to get Hemiplegic migraines, which include stroke like symptoms such as limb weakness on one side and vertigo. While this isnt a problem generally, it does make me more likely to hit the deck if theres a big shy or half whip round (shes a sweetheart, but pheasants happen! 😂)
Because of this I'm considering a saddle change. I usually ride her in a torsion treeless, which is fine, but not the deepest ride.
I'm considering either a stock saddle or endurance saddle for extra support and security, not a western saddle thanks. Would love some input from riders with mobility issues.
Thanks :)
What are the pros and cons of mounting a horse that's parked out? I'm 6'5" tall and don't have my horse park out to mount. I have trained him to park out and my wife is short and needs a mounting block to get on my 16.3hh TWH. I've been told by someone that mounting a parked out horse is damaging to their stifles. Does anyone have knowledge of this?
99% of us were here to see the show end. More bronies will join our Herd in the years to come, even after we die. But I think we'll be looked back upon as the nobles who braved the hate of the world and changed the ways people interacted with different cultures.
Just as Twilight Sparkle created a harmony in Equestria that could allow Gryphons, Dragons, Kirin, Hippogryphs and other creatures to live together as friends, we have shown the world that we all have different interests, even weird ones no one could ever expect, but we're still all capable humans, and we can all live together happily. Problems happen, but the Magic of Friendship really is stronger than almost any relationship failure. Relationships are what connect people to form cultures, and good relationships between cultures can form strong societies.
And what a strong society this fandom is.
