Kik recently added a public chat feature, and I noticed a lot of subreddits have their own room, so I thought I'd make one for all of us.
The chat is #rhorses
To join, go to the main Kik screen and press the plus button, and then tap "Public Groups", and then type rhorses in the search box that comes up. The title is Horse Chat.
If you have problems, make sure your Kik app is up to date. If you don't have Kik, I highly recommend it. Good way to communicate with friends.

As an aspiring soon-to-be horse owner, I'm curious whether most owners choose to use horseshoes. I do not intend to do much, if any, jumping, and the only paved surface he or she would contact is crossing the occasional two-lane road. Any input would be appreciated.
Meet Flicka! I'm over the moon excited, she's had her vet check and passed with flying colors and has done beautifully the couple of ride I've put on her. Glad to be joining the world of horse ownership again!
