I don't watch MLP mostly because if I were to watch it I wouldn't want anyone to know. But even though I don't watch it I listen to the music. One day I was listening to... I forgot what I was listening to, but I forgot to turn off autoplay. I start hearing an amazing song so I just kept it on while I was slowly falling asleep, but the song kept getting better and better. I turn on my phone and see that I'm listening to Lullaby For A Princess. After listening to it on loop for awhile I put it in my songs playlist. Later I was recommended a song called The Moon Rises. And again I couldn't stop listening to it. Funny thing, I think I understand the story with Luna and the one who controls the sun and I've only been listening to music and not the show. I'm kind of interested in the show now, but I don't know how to watch it without anyone knowing lol. I just want to know why MLP has the best fan music? And the best animation (probably because they take years to animate.) It's gotten to the point where (don't call me weird for this) the music actually helps me sleep if I'm listening to Lullaby For A Princess. Should I watch the show? The only thing I have to go off of is the music and the story of Luna. I just wanted to post this to reddit haha.
So, the farrier comes to check on a horse that came into the unit lame and that we treated for an abcess. He reckons we can put shoes on now and gets busy.
I decided to do a quick walk around and look at the others in case there's anything else he can do to make the drive out more worth his while. Stare hard at the horses who seem to lose shoes like it's their job and they stare back innocently and chew grass.
Find a couple of horses and a donkey that can use a trim, they get done, everyone's happy.
Walk back past the mare paddock not even 2 hours later and see a shiny, freshly lost shoe lying right by the gate like a little gift just for me. I swear I see a smirk on the horse's lips. Sigh...
Hello, my name is Laurel. I really love drawing horses, my specialty is colored pencil (I use prismacolor).
Right now I am in an extreme bind. I have to very quickly raise an amount of money to clear a debt, and I don't know how else to do that other than to offer my skills here. Here are some examples of my work with pencil and colored pencil:
As the title says we lost our foal this morning at 2am, foal was 36 hrs old. It was a dummy foal but I'm confident it would have survived if all the vets in our area hadn't refused to see her and told me I was overreacting. That makes this death even more painful. We live in a very rural area so there aren't many options when it comes to vets, we did everything we could have done at home.
I'm looking for a little guidance from people who know more than me. I left the foal where she died so that mama could grieve and once mama accepts the loss and leaves we will remove baby. Mama (mini horse) has been with our goats for her pregnancy, she wanted nothing to do with our other mini (gelding) and constantly fought with him, so he's with our donkey and she's been with the goats.
How do I help her grieve? Is there anything I can do? Should I keep her with the goats? Should I buy a newly weaned foal for her to "adopt"? I'm so heartbroken for her. I'll do anything to make this easier for her.
