I'm going to Iceland in a bit over a week, and I'm really looking forward to riding an Icelandic horse. I'm pretty unsure of where to go though. As I've seen lots of posts here about Iceland and Icelandic horses, I was wondering if anyone had suggestions.
Here are the conditions: - I would consider myself an intermediate rider, so a ride were we get to go a bit faster would be nice. I am comfortable all gaits in English tack and bareback so the Icelandic tack should not be an issue. - I only have a time frame of around 3 hours at most to ride, so a shorter ride would be good. I'd also like something longer than 1 hour. - group sizes may be an issue, I noticed some places take you on a ride with the people you book with, and other times with others who booked the same ride. I'm probably the only one riding among my traveling partners, so a place that puts you with other people would be ideal, as I know many places have a minimum group size when you book.
Thanks for reading! Any suggestions and feedback would be greatly appreciated.
