When I am around my horse that I've had for 13 years Im getting welps showing up on my arms that feel like ant bites, they disappear when I wash my arms, I'm not like this with any other horse, my friend who has horses came over and started itching too, is there something I can wash him with to help?

I'll soon be working with a little girl at my barn that I've been told is a bit of a "know it all". I've yet to meet her, so this is only second hand information from the barn owner who has had her around while feeding a day or two. The little girl's mom says she reads all the time about horses and is constantly researching, which is great! She also went to a summer horse camp, so she has some experience. I'm happy to work with somebody who's super eager to learn, I love passing along what I know. I just want to make sure she stays safe and how I can best do this without seeming like a killjoy.
I'm just wondering if anybody had experience with this sort of little girl and if there was any advice or info you could pass along!

I've been a gentleman's farm sitter for a few years now. It's just this year that I've really been spending time with horses. Not only have I fallen in love with these animals but I'm very good with them. Which I've been told is not a skill you just learn. I'm thinking about working full time at a horse barn, something I would most likely have to relocate for, so I'm researching. Do you cats have any experience with full time horse time? Pro's Cons?
