What if the Mane Seven and Spike were sent by the Map to solve a friendship problem in the Land of One-Eyed, One-Horned, Flying Purple Pony Eaters?

The Mane Seven are called by the Map to a mysterious island near the Dragon Lands. Spike goes with them.

It turns out that this is the land of beasts called the One-Eyed, One-Horned, Flying Purple Pony Eaters.

This island also has a strange, naturally-occurring energy field that prevents Unicorns and Alicorns from using their magic.

OEOHFPPEs are a large, winged, insectoid race with one long horn and one big eye. They speak solely in 1950s-style slang.

Their diet consists solely of flying purple ponies: On the island, there's a rare species of non-sapient flying purple ponies that makes up the population's diet.

(That doesn't stop the Pony Eaters from gazing at Twilight hungrily, though)

The group eventually locates the source of the friendship problem: The prince of the OEOHFPPEs is having problems with his father. Instead of staying in the mountain palace, he's come down to the ground with the commoners, upsetting the king.

Twilight asks, "Mr. Purple Pony Eater, what's your line?"

The prince replies, "Eatin' purple ponies and it sure is fine, but that's not the reason why I came to land. I want to get a job in a rock and roll band."

Then, he swings from the tree and lands on the ground, and he starts to rock, really rockin' around. It's a crazy ditty with a swinging tune: "Sing a bop-bop, a-boopa lopa lum bam boom!"

Unfortunately, the king arrives and forbids him from pursuing his passions, banning him from ever playing rock and roll music through the horn in his head and taking him back to the palace.

Question One: If this was an actual episode, how would the Mane Seven and Spike solve this problem?

Question Two: On a scale of 1-10, how nervous would Twilight Sparkle be on this island?
