Never Ending Nightmares
When Nightmare Moon returns from her thousand year exile, her first act is not to appear in Ponyville at the Summer Sun Celebration in place of her sister, but instead to plunge all of Equestria in to a deep magical sleep.
In the land of Nod, Nightmare Moon weaves together a shared nightnare for everypony, where she rules supreme over all.
Twilight Sparkle is the only dreamer that realizes that the world is very wrong, and she tries over and over to wake up. Unfortunately, the Elements of Harmony are outside of her reach in the waking world, so every time she tries to wake up, it just results in Nightmare Moon forcing her into a new more horrible nightmare scenario.
How can Twilight defeat Nightmare Moon? How can she escape her own nightmares to try?
