Hi all!!!!
So I've seen every season countless times , and I still am confused about one thing. There's the episode where they talk about how rainbow dashes first sonic rainboom as a filly brought them all together; leading them all to get their cutie marks simultaneously. Basically accrediting her first sonic rainboom to the catalyzing of all of their futures. But there's also the episode of the Best flyer competition where they all are seeming to act like they've never seen one? That it's an old mares tale? Wasn't she around the clouds dale bullies, whom in best flyer competition told her it was impossible, when she did the first rainboom?
Am I just seeing it wrong or something, or just too confused lol bc that's totally possible. Why would they have it occur like that? If I remember correctly the episode about her first sonic rainboom leading to being a huge event for their self realizations, comes much after the best flyer competition episode.
So I'm just wondering also why they would use the sonic rainboom as that huge factor, maybe rainbow dash was lacking in popularity and they wanted to make sure she got more credit? Was it an afterthought but they thought it was such a good episode idea it didn't matter if it didn't line up?
Or, am I just not understanding hahahah.
Also sorry I forget the names of the episodes
Generally in cartoons and movies featuring schools competing against each other, the rival school almost always resort to cheating and rigging to win. Friendship Games averts that trope. The Shadowbolts, while being poor sports, actually won their challenges legitimately through skill. The only time they come close to cheating is when they want Twilight to release the magic to help them in the final competition and even then it was less "cheating" and more "leveling the playing field" since they felt Canterlot High's magic gave them an unfair advantage
Why is luna retiring? She's only been working since the pilot. Celestia has been at it for over 1000 years.
Can a horse shoe be made with a easily replacable gell or some rubber thingy soles that we have in our shoes? So that we could ride horses on concrete and roads and those soles helps absorb the shocks to the knees
This is the thread for discussing anything pertaining to Fanfiction in general. Like your ideas, thoughts, what you're reading, etc. This differs from my Fanfic Recommendation Link-Swap Thread, as that focuses primarily on recommendations. Every week these two threads will be posted at alternate times.
Although, if you like, you can talk about fics you don't necessarily recommend but found entertaining.
IMPORTANT NOTE. Thanks to /u/BookHorseBot (many thanks to their creator, /u/BitzLeon), you can now use the aforementioned bot to easily post the name, description, views, rating, tags, and a bunch of other information about a fic hosted on Fimfiction.net. All you need to do is include "{NAME OF STORY}" in your comment (without quotes), and the bot will look up the story and respond to your comment with the info. It makes sharing stories really convenient. You can even lookup multiple stories at once.
I ADORE the music from the show, but I was wondering what fan-artists I should check out, whether they remix songs or make their own.
If you have any suggestions, would you be so kind as to leave the links with your comment? Preferably to Bandcamp but if they don't have that then whatever else haha.
Thanks!
Hi there! It's Thursday again and that means another chance to talk about what's been happening around here and how you feel about it!
Same as every other time, feel free to discuss whatever it is you'd like regarding our little subreddit good or bad. If you're unhappy we'll try our best to fix whatever problem you're having!
If you want to talk about the MLP fandom in general, that's fine too!
But some people may not want to talk about comics or anything else that hasn't happened yet, so you should be nice and hide those conversations from those people by using the spoiler tag.
If you don't know how it's as easy as making an emote:
>!It has ponies!!<
And if you're not wanting to discuss the subreddit or community specifically you can also check out the weekly off-topic thread here!!!!
