A friend of mine asked me for the script of what the commentator says in this video(especially the last sentences). He is a non-redditor asshole horse rider friend of mine, so feel free not to answer what he seeks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GTOrhfXAly4
Nick Fury shows up recruiting for the Avengers. Who does he recruit? Do they accept? What happens in the sequel?
Inspired by the recent AskReddit thread on the topic.

Hey, everybody, welcome to Weekly Wrap Up where we recap the week in Pony, I'm your host /u/FlaminScribblenaut, thank you so much for being here!
And... yeah, I think the title about says it all. Let's go then.
Weekly Wrap Up is a weekly NPT feature that covers MLP and fandom-related news of note from the past week that you may have missed!
Friendship Is Magic Issue #56 has been released.
A shortened version of the Movie trailer has been released internationally.
The international version of the Movie poster has been revealed and it is beautiful.
Movie book "The Stormy Road To Canterlot" has appeared on Amazon.
The third and final of this Summer's three Equestria Girls specials, "Mirror Magic", has officially aired in the US.
A 3-pack of the EqG specials titled "Magical Movie Night" has appeared on Amazon.
Crystal Mountain PonyCon was held, June 6th - 8th.
There will be an official MLP panel at this year's San Diego Comic-Con.
Before we go, a real quick thing: any of y'all out there who are into the grimdark/horror scene of fan content, and/or are familiar with the original, I highly reccomend TheLostNarrator's reading of Silent Ponyville 2 that just wrapped up pretty recently. I finished it this past Sunday and I am in love. It's an incredible, captivating, dark, disturbing, emotional ride that may even surpass the original. If you're looking for your next fanfic venture, definitely make it that.
Well folks, that's it for the Wrap Up. If I missed anything, please feel free to let me know. Good current time of day in your time zone, Happy NPT, join us next Thursday for another week of Pony news. See you then!
Do they even age? All this can't have possibly happened in one year... Right?
So as a topic of discussion: I have seen many fanfics go to convoluted lengths to explain Derpy's cutiemark. Everything from being good at blowing bubbles, to sensing air currents, to being a planeswalker.
I figure since she is a mailmare maybe it is as simple as representing...bubble wrap...meaning she is good at wraping packages.
Thoughts?
So I broke my tailbone last week after taking a nasty fall off my horse, and last time this happened, I wasn't in riding shape for three years.
I just bought a new horse who's a dream and I can't bear not riding her for that long. And I'm having trouble with the idea of spending 500$ a month in board for a horse I can't ride.
So I can sit comfortably in doughnut pillows, which has me thinking I could ride if I used a strong seat saver with a cutout or even a saddle with a cutout. My budget can't afford a saddle, so do any of you know of anything that could help? I've searched around the Internet and besides 3000$ custom saddles there seems to be nothing.
I have tried thick gel pads and sheepskin covers but there cannot be any contact on the tailbone. I need it suspended, so the seat saver could not be made of foam or fabric as it would smush down leaving my tailbone pressed on the saddle.
Thank you
Probably common knowledge but after 7 entire seasons of staring at Applejack's hair I finally understood the joke. Of course they put it in a pony tail on her tail because she's a pony. Its so simple that I never questioned it because she works on a farm and a ponytail would be efficient. Its odd how I didn't put two and two together. I wonder what else I missed in regards to the design of the cast? Have you ever noticed something else hidden in plain sight? EDIT BONUS: Also according to this thread here, its a common signal to put red ribbons on horses who kick. Just like Applejack has on her tail.
So, because it's No-Pics Thursday (July 13th, 2017) today, you know what that means...
It's time for the Weekly Fanfic Recommendation LINK-SWAP Game thread to continue!
Anyways, THE RULES (read 'em carefully):
Post a link to a fanfiction you like (can be your own as well - it's okay to self-promote), with or without a short blurb.
Important: Reply to someone else's post with a link to a fanfiction you think they might like, based on their choices.
Put each of your choices in a separate post if you want to make sure to get a recommendation based on each one. You may reply to someone else's reply, either to you or to someone else. Please make long discussion threads, they introduce a healthy bit of exploration and can help us find new interests! And that's it!
PLEASE COMPLETE BOTH STEPS 1 and 2. Don't just show up and ask for recommendations if you're not willing to provide any. I'll start the first few threads myself, and reply with a gentle reminder if you forget. Ready? Set? LET"S GO! Also, feel free to self-promote in here!
With Griffons, Yaks and Dragons, I've seen a lot of people complaining that there's a sense of "ponies know best" and other civilizations have little to offer or can't help themselves without the aid of ponies.
If there was an episode where the Mane 7 were called to the Zebra homeland or Saddle Arabia or some other land (or even just revisiting a previously-seen location like Griffonstone or Yakyakistan), how could the story be written to avoid this problem?
There are a lot of equus monsters and beings from myths. Not all of which are well know. What some equus creatures do thing the fandom sure know about?
Here a few just for a example:
Anggitay: A female unicorn centaur from Philippine myths
Onocentaur: A donkey centaur from medieval myths
Ipotane: A satyr with horse parts instead of goat parts from Greek myths
Centaurides: The name of female centaurs from Greek myths
Hippalectryon: A horse with the back half and wings of a chicken from greek myths.

Hi there! It's Thursday again and that means another chance to talk about what's been happening around here and how you feel about it!
Same as every other time, feel free to discuss whatever it is you'd like regarding our little subreddit good or bad. If you're unhappy we'll try our best to fix whatever problem you're having!
If you want to talk about the MLP fandom in general, that's fine too!
But some people may not want to talk about comics or anything else that hasn't happened yet, so you should be nice and hide those conversations from those people by using the spoiler tag.
If you don't know how it's as easy as making an emote:
[It has ponies!](/spoiler)
Becomes: It has ponies!
And if you're not wanting to discuss the subreddit or community specifically you can also check out the weekly off-topic thread that will be up at noon Pacific time!!!!
I know nothing about horses and I happen to be horse sitting for the next couple weeks. I will be honest and say I have a slight anxiety around horses...they are big creatures, however I have watched this particular horse a few times before and have begun to feel pretty comfortable around her...she's a sweet old lady.
However, today I went out to her pasture to feed her and she kind of charged at me. This has never happened before so, I was pretty scared. I tried to reach out and pet her like my usual greeting but she just seemed really excited and was running around and kicking uncomfortably close to me. The rest is honestly kind of a blur because I had so much adrenaline I honestly forget exactly how I reacted. Basically...I was trying to talk calmly at first and reassure her and then I tried backing up until I was basically stuck between her and the fence, pretty much petrified. I eventually got an opportunity to run into her barn and as soon as I put her grain in her feeder she was fine and eating and I was able to leave.
I was wearing a long, flowy black maxi dress for the first time around her, when I usually wear something like shorts and a t-shirt, so I don't know if the fact that I looked unfamiliar made her feel slightly spooked. Or I don't know if she was just running at me because she was excited to be fed and my nervous energy made her act up? I'm not sure exactly what caused it, but I would love to know how to react if this happens again-after all I do have to horse sit for a few more weeks and I would love to not be kicked!
Any advice, videos, or other resources would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
