One thing you would change about your favorite character?
Attempting to keep it within the realm of plausibility. Could be anything, really. Design, arc, flaws, the mannerisms with which they act and speak, specific scenes you wish were done differently, the fact that they are not and will never be real.
Now we all know Sunset Shimmer has no issues, and that she is perfect in every way. This is common knowledge. However, as heretical as it may be, I would opt for a few adjustments. One of which is that atrocious outfit she has on for Forgotten Friendship and the Magic Specials. Sunset, babe, your sense of style is usually absolutely impeccable. The whole leather biker thing you have going on is particularly stellar. But what is going on with the spiked leather vest? The orange off-shoulder shirt is fine but then you get back to the black studded waist belt and beneath that a magenta skirt, and I know those black things are supposed to be buckles but it looks like it is has a zipper running down the front with two Velcro latches and you just look like a Strawberry-Orange Danimals Crush Cup going through a punk rock phase. Luckily her later SBP fit was pretty phenomenal, so there's always that.
One small scene I would change is at the start of Forgotten Friendship, where Sunset is singing the high praises of the yearbook to her friends after Rainbow calls it "just a yearbook." Months (weeks?) earlier, she was totally unconcerned with the Friendship Games and caught on earful for that. I don't think it makes too much sense for her to be wrapped up in a school pride extracurricular to the degree she is in that scene. Something like, "Y'know what Rainbow, you're totally right. At the end of the day, it is just a high school yearbook. Just like the Friendship Games are just games. But what it means and what it represents to people is what makes it so important. Including me. It serves as a potent reminder not only of the person I once was but the person I came to be. A reminder of the people who got me through those muddy waters, and a reminder of some of the happiest moments of my life. Some people might not need it, but I don't know where I'll be in five years. I might be back in Equestria. But with the yearbook, a part of you will always be their with me no matter where you are, or where I am."
Alright, i'm done spewing garbage for now, your turn.
