Has anyone else experienced an increase in trespassing since lockdown started?
I'm in the UK and since we've been in lockdown, the number of people coming onto private land has definitely increased. We had a group come wandering through the (private) yard today and when we asked them what they thought they were doing they said "we wanted the children to see the horses and sheep". When the yard owner reminded them that we are in full lockdown and asked them to leave, they seemed to think she was being unreasonable, and left deliberately slowly.
I also had a lady try to approach and stroke my horse when I was out hacking today, and she got rather shirty with me when I asked her to keep her distance.
It's almost like they feel entitled to our animals, as if they're there as an entertainment or distraction.
