Weekend camping on Lake Texoma on the Oklahoma side (Platter Flats)

I rarely take my own pictures because I usually have to drive with both hands. So glad my best friend is a shutter bug on a calm, Steady Eddy UNIT of a horse!

We spent Friday afternoon and evening setting up camp, Saturday we had a total of 9 riders that went out with us, and Sunday it was just three of us. The kids were just there to ride Saturday - they all had to work Sunday.

You can lead a horse to water... and you need to let them drink! Trigger stopped dead in the creek and told me he had to have water. I obliged.

Taking a break at Rooster's Roost. He has a white sclera on that side, and a lot of people think he's giving them crazed horse eyes because they see the white of that eye first. Nope. He just has one white sclera.

The only way we could get all three of us in the picture! Dude beside me is my husband. Sorrel is his mare, Gina, buckskin is friend's UNIT - Whiz. Selfie Lady is my best friend and why I do this now.

Little Oops got to go swimming with a 12 year old cowboy Friday and Saturday.

Best. View. Ever. Between the ears, cool wind in the mane as it came across the water.

Also between the ears. That bermuda was delicious - or so I'm told.
