Alternative Settings for MLP
So we've seen a LOT of fanart over the years, many of which could be canon to the show itself, but sometimes we will see a or be inspired by to create our own settings in our heads or fanwork. I've been posting more of these alternative setting fanart recently and I realized something.
Some of these offshoot settings have become REALLY popular over the years, specifically Fallout:Equestria comes to mind. But personally. . .
I would LOVE to see a MLP world where Rarity is a Private Detective working alongside the Police Department of Manehattan while crossing paths with the Mafia, where half of the Mane 6 and background characters would be a part of. There is SO much potential in such a setting that could even work together with the show's actual premise of friendship and empathy.
So that said are there any settings that you would love to see be made into a fimfiction or other such fanwork work? What is that setting and how do you imagine such a setting would work with the characters we have all come to love? Why do you think such a setting could work?
