Bone cysts in stifle - anyone have any experience with these?

Horse is 4yo Quarter Horse - he's a performance horse. Wanting to hear from anyone with experience with their horse having a bone cyst - treatments, success/failure, return to performance work, etc etc.

FYI - Horse with equine specialist having arthroscopy today.
