When a "Horse Book" Grabs the Attention of a Non-horse Person...
I suppose the last horse book I read was BLACK BEAUTY long, long ago. A friend of mine - a real horse person - gave me a copy of her sister's new book LADY LONG RIDER, and I started it out of courtesy, frankly. It's both a horse book and a way-more-than-that book.
