What is the evolutionary purpose of the Galvayne's groove?
Hi there! In vet school I leanred that a horses age can be easily found by the galvayne's groove
But nothing I have ever found has explained why they have it or why its there? What is its normal function or purpose?
Im wondering if anybody here knows
