If the Tree of Harmony took the forms of other members of the Mane 6, under what circumstances would it do so?

We can assume that the Tree of Harmony chose Twilight's form because, as the Princess of Friendship/Element of Magic and the principal of the School of Friendship, Twilight best represents a "teacher" role.

In the future, if the Tree ever needed to test someone's friendship or provide exposition about a certain magical artifact or historical event, I assume that it would also take Twilight's appearance then.

However, I assume that it's not limited to just Twilight Sparkle.

If the Tree decided to make avatars of the rest of the Elements in order to communicate, under what circumstances would it do so?

1. Pinkie Pie

2. Fluttershy (This is the only one where I have my own idea, that the Tree would use her form in times where it needed to make itself as non-threatening as possible)

3. Rarity

4. Applejack

5. Rainbow Dash
