[Random Thought] What if Ocellus is meant to be the next Queen?
Even among the re-colored Changeling, Ocellus looks different.
What if, as she grows up, those differences become more pronounced (getting longer legs and a longer neck, maybe she grows pupils in her eyes), and she's actually going to be a Queen Changeling like Chrysalis?
That would also be a reason why Thorax chose her to attend the school, since she would be next in line after him.
Maybe her frill will someday become "hair" like Chrysalis's.
(Also, if anyone brings up the fact that she looks different because the writers needed to make her look different from various background Changelings: Think Watsonian, not Doylist)
If this is the case:
Does Ocellus know? If so, what does she think about it? If not, why hasn't she been told yet about her destiny?
What kind of Queen would you expect her to be?
Thorax likely isn't going to die soon, since Changelings appear to live a long time. What responsibilities would Ocellus have as a "Queen" Changeling before becoming the Hive's actual Queen centuries down the line?
