Someone explain this horse behavior please
My friends and I were walking through a horse paddock a few hours ago. This happened to be at around 9pm at night and it was completely dark. The paddock or the horses did not belong to us, we use it as a shortcut to get home. Anyway we were playing music and holding torches before realising that a pack of about 15 horses were following us and spreading out in a semi circle around our backs. One horse took up speed and headed towards us before our flash light startled it. We than quickly ducked away over a nearby dence and through a ditch and left for home scared shitless. Is this normal for horses?
