What if Equestria had a Flash Forward event?
(Based on the science fiction novel "FlashForward" and the ABC television adaptation)
Randomly one day, everyone in Equestria passes out simultaneously. No warning, they just drop like a rock.
For exactly 137 seconds, they have a vision of themselves 20 years in the future.
These "visions" are like dreams where you are aware that you are dreaming, but you cannot stop yourself from performing the actions of the dream.
If you are dead in the future, you see nothing, and it's like you just had a normal nap.
If you are asleep in the future, you see your dreams.
After the 137 seconds are up, everyone wakes up.
This phenomenon doesn't only affect ponies, it also affect zebras and dragons and donkeys and yaks and every intelligent being on the planet except for Discord.
What is the reaction to this event?
What do you think the Mane Six saw during the Blackout?
A significant plot point in the original novel and show is the mass death and chaos in the aftermath of the Blackout. Since Equestria has no cars/planes, is this less of an issue?
