As you may or may not know, there were some leaks that suggest Equestria Girls will be getting a regular series, but instead of airing on television they will be available via YouTube.
Given how chaotic the schedule for season 7 has been, how likely do you think it will be that the main series may follow suit? There are pros and cons for releasing the show via a purely digital format, not least of which would be the possible loss of ad revenue. Still, it would give Hasbro more control and possibly a new revenue stream via online ads tailored specifically for the audiences online habits.
Something else to take into account is Disney recently deciding to allow its contract with Netflix to expire. While it's doubtful Hasbro would do the same, it's not outside the realm of possibility.
If MLP: FiM were to become available only on YouTube, do you think that would be good or bad?
