Predict the ending two episodes of Season 7 (25-26)
Since the summary of episodes 25 and 26 (along with 24) have not leaked yet, it is possible to make speculative predictions on how Season 7 will end. This exercise is not on what will actually happen, but more on what one wishes to happen.
I'll start:
I think the final two episodes will center around Starlight Glimmer being accidentally elevated into an alicorn by Princess Celestia's wayward magic. SG, at first is shocked by this transformation, but later realizes alicorn-hood has given her much more magical power than before, surpassing all known ponies. Like in previous episodes, she is tempted to use her magic to resolve every problem and that includes battling a powerful (new?) villain.
After easily dispatching the villain and winning praise of all of Ponyville, the adulation goes to her head and she begins to go the dark side and reprise her Our Town personality. Twilight Sparkle and the rest of the Mane 6 realize that a power hungry SG will destroy Equestria and try to devise a way to strip SG of her alicorn-status before it is too late.
Unfortunately, they are no match for SG. SG is on the precipice of defeating the Mane 6, when with a last ditch plea from TS, her teacher, SG realizes that in gaining all this power she has lost the meaning of friendship (and the lessons she has learned--flashbacks) and her friends.
SG then willingly gives up her alicorn status and magically reverts to being her unicorn-self. Exhausted mentally and physically from the sacrifice, she collapses. The Mane 6 rush to comfort her, but SG pushes them away saying that she'll leave Ponyville in exile as self-punishment for abusing her magic. They reply "Nonsense, if anything you need all the friends you can get." The ponies embrace in a big group hug and cheer and with that the finale ends.
