Paso Fino in Misty (1961 film)?
Just re-watched this movie and the Phantom does not look like a Chincoteague pony. Couldn't tell if she a trotting or gaiting but she looked like a Paso Fino to me. Same with the paint pony that Paul rides in the round up.
