Coronary band injury turned into lameness
My boy Talo hurt himself at the turnout on Saturday. Seemed fine, although the wound looked bad. Vet saw him, said only to keep it clean. Rode for two days, all was great. Today, started trot and he could hardly put his leg on the floor. Waiting for the farrier to check on him on Friday. The leg looks fine, no swelling, it's not hot and the wound has a scab and it's not oozing.
Anyone had experienced with coronary band injury? It's my first horse and first injury. I am worried 😥
