As the title says, my wife and I have decided to learn to ride. Our daughter has been learning to ride English and one evening while picking her up, we decided to talk to the instructor about lessons for us. I have a fair idea of what to expect from taking my daughter and watching her, but, as with many things, there can be differences between kids and adults. Its also a lot different to actually participate than just watch. Any tips/suggestions? Any gear that I should look into (I've only shopped the kids stuff so far)?
Thanks!
Hey all, I just booked a trip to Rio de Janeiro at the end of November. I'm wondering if any of you have been there, and if you've got a recommendation for a riding stable that offers day trips that are more advanced than the average walking trail/beach rides that I'm finding online. I went to Iceland a few years ago, and the day I spent on a riding excursion on an Icelandic horse was hands down the highlight of my trip. I'd love to find something similar in Brazil!
