What Does Your Best Pony Say About YOU?
Disclaimer: The purpose of this is to poke fun and not insult. I'm just an arse who likes silly ideas.
You know, a lot of people say that they can really relate to their favourite ponies. Is this because they're well written, interesting and relatable characters? Or is it because it reflects their personality more than they're willing to let on? Let's find out!
Twilight Sparkle: You're a freakin' nerd. Not just in the mainstream way, either. You are a full on, book readin' smart, neurotic and socially awkward person down to a T. While this does mean that the few friends you have are great friends with you, they all remember your episodes and plan appropriately. But considering what you'd do for them, they still think you're a swell person. Mostly.
Rainbow Dash: You are the best person you have ever met. Partially because you'd take a bullet for your friends, partially because you have an ego the size of Jupiter. You brag about everything and it does grate on your friends sometimes, but you're the guy/gal who always has their back, whether they want you to or not.
Rarity: People say you're a snob, when really you have high standards. Incredibly high standards that have led to more than a few instances of an episode from you. In unrelated news, you're also a great actor/ress. Whether that's through raw talent or simply practicing is up to debate.
Fluttershy: You think of yourself as a nice person, but really you're a psychopath with a fuse as long as your clearly extended hair. But boy, when you lose patience, it's a spectacle to behold for those not on the crossfire. Which makes your anxiety even worse knowing that at any moment, you could blow up into an emotionally confused rage ala The Hulk. Try and keep it in check and talk to your therapist about it.
Pinkie Pie: You're the life of the party and the weird one in your group of friends. Getting a laugh out of people is your prime directive and you'll achieve that by any means necessary, up to and including murder. Thankfully it hasn't gotten to that point yet, but your friends keep an eye on their drinks when you're not looking just in case. You also have a strange knack for having the right thing at the right time, for some reason.
Applejack: You're the boring workaholic who is content with their mundane life. It's not a bad existence, per se and you don't hate your job, but inside you dream for more extravagant things, like a fancier car and a farm. You also have shitty dreams, really. But at least you're honest!
Miss Pommel: See Fluttershy, but replace the inner psychopath spiel with fashion design.
Muffins: You're different and you've long since accepted that fact. You live your life on the positive end, being nice to everyone whenever you can and generally being as good as you can be. Despite being what most people would consider "Less than normal", you're actually a very good person. You also have a penchant for breakfast and Russell Howard, for whatever reason.
Marble Pie: See Miss Pommel, but take everything interesting out and replace it with more Moe traits.
The Great and Powerful Trixie: Your ego is massive. To the point of it being most of your shtick. You big up your achievements with bravado and ham and it's pretty divisive. Some like the exaggeration, whether it's because it makes the story more fantastical or due to it being unintentionally hilarious. Some just wish you'd admit that your job is a failure and get a desk job like them, but you're better than that! Well, not really, but hard work and determination pays off eventually. Keep at it.
Starlight Glimmer: You're probably the most sane of the lot. Beautiful, kind, honest, loyal. You're the whole package and anyone who hates you is simply jea-

Starlight Glimmer: You're an odd one, to say the least. Despite your past, you strive to be better than you were and you do try your damndest... Most of the time, anyway. You try and take shortcuts sometimes and it never works out for you. Among other things, you have a strange sense of humor involving self-deprecation and Communism and you try and be social but outside of your group of friends, you find it difficult for some reason. Despite what you've done, you can learn from your mistakes and be a better person.
DJ PON3: Dubstep is your life. Your $500 headphones are pratically glued onto your head and it basically makes social interaction outside of "Turn that crap down." an impossibility. It also allows you to conveniently ignore your landlord demanding rent off of you again. You're also a massive pothead, so you carry around a pair of shades all the time to prevent people seeing your red eyes. The few friends you do have generally joke that you actually are a vampire, since you avoid the sunlight whenever you can and generally are nocturnal.
I'm out of ideas. Honestly, I've been writing this drivel for the best part of an hour now and my fingers are starting to ache, so I'm going to stop before I get RSI or something. and leave it to you people to write jokes like me. You'll never succeed.
I probably missed a ton of people's favourites, but that's either due to laziness, or just not having a way to describe them humorously, sue me.
