To all of you horse lovers and caregivers,
Thank you so much for taking care of such a beautiful and kind animal that is often terribly overused and abused
From a person who has seen a horse maybe twice in their life
Over a year ago, I posted a photo about my Thoroughbred X dressage prospect. He has come so far from what he started out as. Over the past year we have done dressage suitability classes at a local show series and ended up with year end Grand Champion for the division. We will continue to do dressage shows while trying our hands at eventing, I'm so excited to see where this journey will take us.
This is what he started out as: http://ift.tt/2rlqwce
After a few months he started to have collection and forward movement: http://ift.tt/2qQj3hS
A few months later, we entered our first show and won 1st place: http://ift.tt/2rlK0gB
We ended up winning champion for the whole series: http://ift.tt/2qQj3OU
Trying out cross country, he seems to really enjoy it: http://ift.tt/2rlwMRe
Here is him now: http://ift.tt/2qQfqZg
I don't know about everyone else but in Maryland we have these cool horse stickers that have the Maryland flag. Like - it's the shape of a horse but the Maryland flag makes up all the colors.
Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
I'll try to post a picture later to alleviate confusion.
Anyways - does anyone else's state do this? Like a horse but with the Californian flag inside? If so, would anyone like to exchange horse stickers with me? I will mail you a shiny Maryland flag horse in exchange for whatever state you have.
What do you think?
What does it mean if a horse has been "ponied" but not saddled? Does that just mean that it has been ridden bareback?
