Hello and again welcome to your weekly dose of 'Shameless Plounge Advertisement': 'This Week on the Plounge' wherein I inform you, the fine folks of the mane sub, what's been going on at your favourite sister subreddit, the Plounge, this past week.
Wait, what is this Plounge you speak of?
The Plounge, or more formally the MLP Lounge is /r/mylittlepony's sister subreddit. Designed to be a place where you can free of the tyranny of rules 3 and 4. A chill place for bronies or anyone to talk in a SFW chat centric environment. It can be found over at /r/MLPLounge. (most of us browse by /new though). Oh and BPM is considered essential for optimum Plounging. (we don't mind the occasional blank post over there)

Hello once again my subjects. This week marks the last of my decrees for this Hiatus, as Season 7 starts next weekend. A bittersweet end.
This week will be slightly more complicated than usual. Each Day, we celebrate a different member of our lead cast!
- Friday the 7th: Pinkie Pie
- Saturday the 8th: Rarity
- Sunday the 9th: Fluttershy
- Monday the 10th: Applejack
- Tuesday the 11th: Rainbow Dash
- Wednesday the 12th: Twilight Sparkle
Please tag your posts with something like [Pinkie Pie Day], and as always have a safe and fun Hiatus!
This account was originally created due to complaints from people that there was a lack of good content between seasons, so I aimed to give our community something to rally behind and keep celebrating pony. You guys nailed it. Hard.
I'd like to give special thanks to /u/sc2_nightmare , /u/flaminscribblenaut , /u/torvusil , /u/voidtemplar2000 , /u/szaladon , /u/sparroew and many others for being frequent contributors. I'm just the figurehead, you guys are the actual achievers.
For those curious the list of weekly themes was: Costumes, Fluttershy, Snuggles, Socks vs Sweaters, Family, Combat, Sleep, Royal Sisters, Hearthswarming, Party, Filly, Non-Pony, Summer in January, Gala, Stallion, Alternative Ships, Future, OCs, Ponies Around the World, Adopt a Subreddit, Crossover, Madness, Supporting Cast, and now Mane 6.
Next week I'll make my final post for this Hiatus to discuss changes to the format and things you'd like to see in the future.

What's your opinion of the UK's Grand National?
I just watched some of it today on ITV (UK TV) and I am not really sure why I did as I have already watched so many falls. The horses look absolutely magnificent but there's such a feeling of nervousness and unease among everybody besides the ladies in their fancy hats.
The favorite to win on Saturday is Definitely Red but I'm conflicted about whether or not I should watch?
What's your opinion? Should this 'tradition' finally be ended or is it historically worth it...?
