[Paso Fino]. I'm about to become involved with some Paso Finos. I've had little to no exposure to the breed. What do I need to know?

Some background: I'm an intermediate/ advanced rider. I was originally trained in Hunter/ Jumper seat and also dabble in dressage. These 2 horses are currently being ridden by novices so I don't expect any huge trouble from them. I'm familiar with the idea of the PF gait but have only experienced it once. What do I need to know about the gait, the breed, etc.?
