The Future of Sunset Shimmer
So over the years Sunset Shimmer has grown to become not only a incredibly fleshed our character but as a character that rivals Twilight Sparkle as he main character of her series in both character development and role in her group.
Unfortunately however Highschool does not last forever and the girls all appear to be in their Junior/Senior years so eventually the girls will end up going their separate ways in order to well... progress in life. Rarity will likely go full time into her Boutique or go and get a Business degree, Applejack has her farm that she is likely to take over from Granny Pie, Rainbow Dash will likely get's a sports scholarship and will try to go professional, Fluttershy I can see going to school become a Veterinarian, as Sci-Twi will be getting a doctorate in one or two degrees, Pinkie is a wild card. Trixie will possibly either go on with a career in music or stage magic. All that is left is Sunset Shimmer.
Personally I would love to see her either find some way to spilt her time between Equestria and EG world, or go back to Equestria as Celestia's protege once more and eventually become a princess as she was being reared to be. Of course she wouldn't be abandoning her friends, no none of them would ever stop being friends or making time for each other, but she would find a place where she could play her part.
What about the rest of y'all? Do you have any ideas on what the futures of Sunset Shimmer, and the rest of the EG cast, will be?
