Create/Share your OCs
Ao I've taken to noticing something about the fandom, and indeed many fandoms over the years, that people who create their own OCs tend to be mocked for being dark or edgy or dorky or some other kind of insult. Quite frankly I don't really think that this is all that fair, especially when in many cases OCs are created out of an excitement for a show or video game.
So I figured why not take the time to not only share or create our own OCs, but share some favorite OCs that you have seen over the years for this show.
Don't worry I'll be sharing my own as well. First off would be Rose Eclipse from my first fanfiction, and one of my two projects as it were, who was the foalhood friend of Celestia and Luna back when they were all foals during Discord's reign over Equestria. When Discord takes a interest in the two immortal sisters as his new personal toys to break Rose attacked him and for his troubles had his horn cracked in half and thrown into the Frozen Tundra where he stumbles half dead into the Umbrum prison and after a struggle and the intervention of King Sombra becomes an Umbrum pony just as the king is. The story and character have not really progressed since then but it is still being worked on, slowly but surely.
My other main OC is a Thestral/Bat Pony by the name of Quick Silver in my ongoing MLP/Dark Souls story. Once a mercenary under the employ of the lords of Saddle Arabia and some merchants, Quick Silver was betrayed by his employers when he was discovered to have fallen under the Undead Curse and languished Forgotten in the Asylum until he was broken free by a dying knight by the name of Filthy Rich. Roguish, arrogant, and loves to talk to himself commenting on the surroundings, this Sabre wielding Thestral has taken on the duty of taking the Pilgramage.
