So the wife and I are looking to get complimentary MLP tattoos when I get back from a 4-5 month trip I am leaving on tomorrow. Would love to see some good ideas on what to get! I am looking to get Rainbow Dash and she loves Pinkie Pie. Can't wait to hear your ideas!
In Sisterhooves Social, it appears that Sweetie Belle lives with her parents. But in For Whom the Sweetie Bell Tolls, we see Sweetie Belle apparently sleeping in the same house as Rarity.
Was she just spending the night, or does she live with her sister now? (One of the more recent episodes may have answered this, but it's been a while since I've seen them.)
so i'm not new to mlp. i've watched every episode twice or more and i LOVE it. i've been watching for years but never knew how to get into the fandom so i made this redit so i can talk about the series with people who also like mlp!
There are always things about the show I want to talk about, but I'd rather not always dedicate an entire full blown thread to it or it's never the right time to mention because no one would care. Maybe it's a thought that could be answered quickly enough to end discussion or something insignificant and stupid brewing in the back of your head for awhile! Anything you want to throw out to r/mylittlepony and say your piece!

Like your ideas, thoughts, what you're reading, etc. This differs from my Fanfic Recommendation Link-Swap Thread, as that focuses primarily on recommendations. Every week these two threads will be posted at alternate times.
Although, if you like, you can talk about fics you don't necessarily recommend but found entertaining.

So there are a LOT of great pony designs in the show, granted many of them are just recolors especially those created in the early seasons, and I don't think that they get discussed all that often.
So hey I figured. . why not discuss these Background Ponies and their designs and why we like them?
For the record I am including characters like Vinyl Scratch, Octavia, Lyra, Bon-Bon, and other such what not in this.
Personally I LOVE Octavia's design. There is something just so simplistic and pleasing about it. Roseluck is another great design I think.
So we've seen a LOT of fanart over the years, many of which could be canon to the show itself, but sometimes we will see a or be inspired by to create our own settings in our heads or fanwork. I've been posting more of these alternative setting fanart recently and I realized something.
Some of these offshoot settings have become REALLY popular over the years, specifically Fallout:Equestria comes to mind. But personally. . .
I would LOVE to see a MLP world where Rarity is a Private Detective working alongside the Police Department of Manehattan while crossing paths with the Mafia, where half of the Mane 6 and background characters would be a part of. There is SO much potential in such a setting that could even work together with the show's actual premise of friendship and empathy.
So that said are there any settings that you would love to see be made into a fimfiction or other such fanwork work? What is that setting and how do you imagine such a setting would work with the characters we have all come to love? Why do you think such a setting could work?
