Change in temperature - change in tempers? I'm a newer stable hand at an amazing farm, and the last few times the temperature dropped our horses have been out of control in the paddocks.
The team that has been there longer has told me this is normal. I'm just curious if others experience this as well?
By out of control, I mean they run hard and fast circles- to the point of possibly injuring themselves. Today with the muddy ground from rain, a few slipped and fell. We had several buck and kick and take off from the lead rope. Normally, these guys get on grass quickly and have no issues.
Thoughts??
