I need to make a saddle rack quickly for my SO. I know nothing about horses. I know nothing about tack. I didn't know horse tack from thumb tacks a year ago. I'm trying to do a favor for my SO until we can get a real wall mounted one. She is quite worried about how it is currently being stored and how it will effect the saddle.
I would like this to be a surprise for her when she gets back from a trip.

Will this rack concept damage an English style saddle? The saddle is an "Wintec" and I am told it is quite nice.

Hi everyone! I'm new to reddit so I'm not sure if I'm posting my thread in the right section but I'm posting this to gain some knowledge about horses!
I started volunteering at a horse sanctuary on Monday and will continue to do so long term, I've learned the basics of horses and so far have really been enjoying it! I'd like to learn more about horses in general, basic care for them, breeds, etc so anyone feel free to educate me on these lovely majestic animals :)

Hey, quick question, I'm doing a speech on horse slaughter and why it shouldn't happen, anyway I need a prop. I'm going to be having some photos and videos playing in the background as well but I don't think that's enough. Do you have any ideas for what props I could use? Any suggestions? We also need to base it around a protest song, I'm doing Racing For Time- http://racingfortime.blogspot.com.au/ and incorporating rescue into it as well.
