Struggling with Hives.
My mare has had hives in varying degrees of severity since August 17. Before this she has never had them. The vet prescribed a series of three Dexamethasone shots. This has gotten most of them to disappear but not all.
There has been no change to her bedding, hay, water, or grain. She is stalled all the time so it isn't something she got into in a field. She has gone off her normal grain this week and been switched to another that she will actually eat.
I am at a loss here as to what to do. Has anyone had experience with this?
