Regarding certain language Sunset used in Forgotten Friendship.
While sorting out the sudden memory loss of the Humane Six with Twilight and Celestia, Sunset refers to the human world as "my" world.
This struck me. Unless there was a plot detail in one of the shorts that I missed (I haven't been keeping up with most of them), Sunset was born and raised in Equestria where she spent the majority of her life. She's spent a comparatively less amount of time in the human world, which we've presumably reasoned was some sort of self-exile, but now that Sunset has made amends with Celesta...what's keeping her from returning?
I mean, yes, she does have her friendship with the Humane Six, but does she have nothing left in Equestria? No friends or family back in her original home? What makes Sunset consider the human world a better place to live in than the pony one she hails from?
