Anyone remember when the first image of Equestria Girls was leaked online in early 2013?
And we all thought it was a hoax until Hasbro officially confirmed it? And we were all horrified and hated the idea of the ponies as technicolor humans in high school? And the actual film got mixed reception when it was first released?
I don't think it was until Rainbow Rocks was released that EQG became just as well-liked as the main series, and people began to look forward to new EQG releases. We sure have come a long way.
