Nightmare Moon is Prince Shining Armor's faithful student. She is a unicorn with a strange connection to the moon, nightmares and nighttime. Despite her intimidating name and appearance, she is a nice-enough pony. She and her faithful dragon assistant Torch (I know that Torch wasn't a villain, but I don't want to use Crackle) are sent to Ponyville to try and make friends.

Discord is a young draconequus (assume that he's not very powerful yet, incapable of the reality-warping shenanigans that Canon!Discord is).

Princess Chrysalis is multi-colored, shiny Changeling, and she is next in line to rule the nearby Changeling Hive.

Sombra is a unicorn with great magical prowess.

Tirek is a centaur who takes care of his adoptive younger brother, Scorpan.

Adagio Dazzle is a talented siren who has decided to live her life as a pony.
Together, they defeat villains like:
Midnight Sparkle - Imprisoned for a thousand years on the moon, along with her powerful and nasty servant, Spike the Inferno Dragon!
Evil!Pinkie (I can't think of good villain names for the rest) - An evil but funny entity imprisoned in stone for eons!
Evil!Applejack - An evil Changeling Queen who wants her family/hive to be able to devour all the love in Equestria!
Evil!Rarity - An evil sorceress who rules the Crystal Empire.
Evil!Rainbow Dash - A powerful, ancient warlord who escapes from Tartarus.
Evil!Fluttershy - An evil villainess that never raises her voice but is able to destroy with a single thought and gains more power the more ponies know about her. (Based on Shadowlock's ancestor from the comics, assuming that this villain ever shows up in the actual show)
How would the villains be like as heroes? How would you rewrite them to be the leads of a hypothetical alternate universe show?
Which villain-turned-hero would hold which Element (Magic, Laughter, Kindness, Loyalty, Generosity and Honest)?
What would the Mean Six be like?
