For us watching the Canadian releases, at least.

Yep, Hasbro has confirmed that Not Asking For Trouble is the mid-season finale, despite a likely much better and much more fitting mid-season finale just two episodes away. Why? I can only assume because this is the season of madness, everything is upside down, and nothing makes sense anymore. Hey, it's already that way in the real world, why not have it follow us into the land of ponies?

Let's just hope the folks at Hasbro gave Treehouse a good ol'-fashioned stern talking to and this bullshit won't follow us into 7B, eh?

• Season 7 Episode 8, "Hard To Say Anything", officially airs in the US.

• As previously mentioned, Not Asking For Trouble is the Season 7 mid-season finale, and the mid-season hiatus is expected to last all the way through July.

• In brighter news, Mike Vogel, writer of such episodes as A Hearth's Warming Tail and Every Little Thing She Does, teases returning to the show in Season 8.
