#mylittlepony - #Finally have enough courage to look back at my time in the fandom with a smile.

Finally have enough courage to look back at my time in the fandom with a smile.

Hello bronies of Reddit. I have recently learned that My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic has come to an end, and even though I haven't been following the show or the fandom for years now, that made me a little sad and nostalgic.

For years I've been trying to repress my brony memories, as If they didn't exist, but today I realized how fun and happy these times were for me. MLP fanart got me into drawing and art, and last month I started my art studies and I finally feel like Im on the right path in my life so, I feel like I owe something for the show.

So I decided I want to do a little bit of catching up with the ponies. I already started rewatching the show and the nostalgia is hitting me like a truck. Makes me remember how deviantart artists always raced after each episode to be the first one to make fanart. However I also want to catch up with you guys. What was happening each year? How was 2014 for the fandom? How was 2015? (and every year leading up to the end of the show) What were the biggest fan productions these years? Any controversy? Im dying to know.

Id like to apologize for my english, but also apologize for leaving you guys and acting like I wasn't a part of this. And thanks to anyone who bothered to read this and even bigger thanks to anyone willing to give me a rundown of these years.

Friendship is magic my dudes!
