How to fix a mane
I have a 4 year old gelding and an older mare, and in the winter we feed them hay with a round bale feeder. When they reach in to get the hay they rub their manes out and in the summer they have a long bald strip on their necks. How do I get the hair to grow out? It's almost never grown out completely by the time we have to start using the hay feeder again. Also, what are some ways to avoid the hair getting rubbed out? Neither of them will wear a neck cover of any kind
