A decade ago, did you think a show aimed at young girls could possibly appeal to adults?
EDIT: The reason I made this is to remind people that just because something's not popular now doesn't mean it'll NEVER be popular again. For instance, I STILL see people saying that traditionally-animated films are dead forever in favor of CG.
