What to Get Done for A Pre Purchase Exam?
After being burned before a friend of mine is now preparing to get a vet check done on a horse she's looking to buy. Out of curiosity, what do you all insist is done for a pre purchase exam? Do you think x rays and ultrasounds are worth it? Are there some "tests" that she should insist on getting done (i.e. the "flex" test for the legs)? The horse she is looking at is 4 and offered for $2000. Should she splurge on a more expensive vet check for a cheaper horse?
