The current IDW comic arc is making references to a threat from Equestria's past that is so horrifying that simply knowing about it is dangerous.
Considering that there's only one chapter of the arc left (and the two following storylines are slice-of-life), people are suggesting that this might be a "prologue" to whatever villain/threat will be the focus of the season 7 finale.
Assuming that this is leading to the villain/threat of the season 7 finale: What could this threat be?
