Just bought 18 acres farm. New to horses. Please help.
My wife took riding lessons and owned a horse as a young girl into her teens. I have farm experience but zero experience with livestock/horses. We just purchased an 18 acres farm with 10 acres of pasture with a 30'x50x barn. The barn is currently not set up for animals but i would like to convert it. Where should i start reading before purchasing a horse. Thanks for reading. It will not be until after extensive research will I be making the purchase so please don't think i will be putting the cart ahead of the horse so they say. All advice welcome. Thank you.
