Sunset played chess with Twilight, and made a mistake

In the Equestria Girls short Rise Up! Sunset Shimmer beats Twilight in a game of chess.

Sunset plays Queen b1, forcing Twilight to resign. In actuality Twilight could have blocked the queen's advance with her bishop and continue the game. She would be at a disadvantage, but considering how bad both players are (unsafe kings, bad white rook/knight positions, fractured pawn structures), Sunset would have a reasonable chance of making a mistake and Twilight wouldn't. I would say Twilight conceded too early.

But what if I put this game on Lichess? What does Stockfish think about Sunset's move? It turns out Qb1 wasn't the best move Sunset could have played, and that Rook c1 would have forced the game to end in 10 turns:

1... Rc1+ 2. Bd1 Qc4 3. Nf6+ Kf7 4. Ra1 Rxa1 5. f3 Rxd1+ 6. Kf2 Rxd2+ 7. Ne2 Qxe2+ 8. Kg3 Kxf6 9. Rg1 Qh2+ 10. Kg4 Qxg1+ 11. Kf4 Rb4# 0-1

Three turns in Twilight has to give up her rook (Ra1 Rxa1) to simply prolong the game, at which point even a novice player would reasonably concede.
