Tender footed horse
Curious if anyone has any experience/tips for a tender footed horse. I had to put my mare of 23 years down a bit ago and I've been in the market for another one now, I found a sweet little 7 year old mare, but she has tender feet. She's currently shod on all 4 feet and the current owner says she hasn't had any problems with her shod on all 4's. Just wondering if anyone else who's he a tender footed horse ran into additional problems or anything you have done for them to keep them comfortable. She will just be used for light arena work and trail riding. Thanks!
